The prices is coming down, and the short-sighted small brained people are taking up their wasteful driving ways again... big ol' dualie 4x4 crew-cab trucks haul nothing but air and the small brain driving go flying by me, even in the fog, 10 and 20 miles per hour over the speed limit, racing away from a stop like they were competing in a top-fuel dragster, accelerating to the last second before slamming on the brakes at a stop... no wonder they have a huge gas tank - otherwise they'd have to fill up every day just to manage a 15 mile commute!

Do we need a government EIA to tell us that gas prices have fallen?
Close the dept. It's not essential.

Prices for this week have been expected to be slightly flat. However, beginning on the 5th, expect prices to start declining again.

The phrase 'our new, happy life' recurred several times. It had been a favourite of late with the Ministry of Plenty. Parsons, his attention caught by the trumpet call, sat listening with a sort of gaping solemnity, a sort of edified boredom. He could not follow the figures, but he was aware that they were in some way a cause for satisfaction.

Can we disband the EPA yet? --Think of the savings to taxpayers!

Maybe we could sell the EPA to China of France?

This would be nice if the prices stay where they are or drop even more for 4 more years.

Well folks here in the sunny south, the price of regular unleaded is 1.649 to 1.659 at least five different stations and areas.

This is good news, but not news to those who have monitored the GasBuddy.com site over the past year. And Sealer, you are on point, unfortunately.

No matter what happens, let's keep conserving, acting as if gas was still $4 a gallon. Let's not go back to our lustful ways.

Unfortunately, lower gas prices are taking the pressure off of our "representatives" to open up new areas for drilling. We'll all pay for their pandering to the enviros on this issue when global demand rises again and takes price up with it.

Here in central NY it's good news/bad news:
Good--lowest prices in 5 years.
Bad--50 cent difference from north of Syracuse to south.

I remember the gas stations who keep the prices jacked up when they should not be and then I just quit going to them even when the price drops. If everyone did this then it would force them to stay competitive or else go out of business.
