Thank you for your congratulations.

We seem to think somewhat similar. "We still have our 1993 Toyota Camry, bought new) and our 2007 Toyota Prius. as nigelb says, "No need to buy another until the wheels fall off." "

Save when and where you can. Have a great day and week ahead.

Nigel, If you are going to blame Bush for ethanol mandates coming into play during his Presidency, but not blame Obama for it continuing over his 5 years of changes, doesn't your assertion exemplify a double-standard?

by LanguageMan1  Mar 08, 2014

Yes it does pay to use GB. You'll probably see those prices up another 15 to 35 cents a gallon. I didn't know you were closer to the higher priced stations. It's going to get worse on those gas prices within the next three to 10 years as well. You nor most anyone will like it.

Hi Nigel. I'm aware the ethanol "problem" took footing under Bush's administration. It continues under Obama's administration these 5 years later without being overturned or changed. Thanks for writing to me.

I meant to say 2000 megawatts by this year, not last year. Anyhow, most likely we’re all going up on gas prices. We had just started a downward trend here, but that’s over now. We had three or four stations down to $3.13 a gallon, now they're back up to $3.33 and $3.35 a gallon. The last one just went back up yesterday. One station in Miami is already $3.89 a gallon. I'd get gassed up now as it's going up more. I wish I could have told everyone yesterday, but I couldn't make it online other than to post prices in the morning. Sorry. You're probably going to see the price average about $3.44 to $3.49 or more per gallon soon.

Nigel, they're not going to get it done in time! They CAN'T put them up at a rate of 2 a day! The didn't even allocate enough money under the old governor OR this one! They're BOTH idiots if you ask me because if I was the governor there, I'd have made certain that we would at least have at least 900 megawatts set up by now, not the 450. I wouldn't have set it for the 2000 megawats by last year, but I would have set it for that by 2016 or 2017. The goal for 3000 megaswatts in 2020 can be met, if they allocate the money AND see to it that the work is getting done. They sit on their asses too much and take their vacations, just like those in Congress or whoever happens to be President. Geez, if I was President, we'd have done so much more with ALL the alternatives already. NONE of them really knows what they're doing and it's all about the money with them anyhow.
